The Norinco Type 54 (often called the Chinese Tokarev) is a military-style semi-automatic pistol chambered in 7.62x25mm Tokarev. It’s a Chinese-made copy of the Soviet TT-33 Tokarev pistol, originally designed in the 1930s. The Type 54 was adopted by the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) in the 1950s and manufactured by Norinco, a major Chinese arms producer.
